Now Enrolling: Clinical Trial for Canine Anxiety

At Bayshore Veterinary Group, we're excited to announce a new clinical trial focused on helping dogs struggling with anxiety. If your dog experiences fear, nervousness, or stress in certain situations, they may qualify to participate in this important research study.

About the Study

This clinical trial is designed to evaluate a new treatment option aimed at reducing anxiety in dogs. Our goal is to better understand how we can safely and effectively help our canine companions feel more calm, confident, and at ease in their daily lives.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the study, dogs must:

  • Weigh more than 8.8 lbs (4 kg)

  • Show signs of anxiety, such as:

    • Excessive barking or whining

    • Panting, pacing, or restlessness

    • Destructive behavior

    • Avoidance or withdrawal

  • Be otherwise healthy and not currently receiving medication for anxiety

What to Expect

Participating dogs will receive:

  • A comprehensive veterinary exam

  • Access to the investigational treatment (at no cost)

  • Ongoing monitoring and care throughout the study

  • Potential benefits from the treatment

  • A chance to contribute to the development of new veterinary options for anxiety

All visits, treatments, and related costs are fully covered for participants.
